Camp Counselor Roles/Responsibilities

Counselors are the primary caregivers for each assigned camper. Counselors are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the campers at all times while leading by example in all they do. Other responsibilities involve greeting campers when they first arrive, explaining and enforcing camp rules and providing emotional support to campers struggling to adjust to the environment.

Requirements for Camp Counselors? 

  • Minimum age 20

  • MUST enjoy working with kids

  • Attend MANDATORY training

  • Available for the entire week

  • MUST pass a background check

  • MUST be physically fit to perform job duties

Requirements for Medical Support Staff? 

  • MUST have a Medical License in Georgia (Physicians) 

  • Registered Nursing Degree

  • Active State of Georgia Registered Nursing License (Nurses)

  • MUST pass a background check

  • MUST be physically fit to perform job duties
